Coach New York Perfume is a fragrance that was released in 2011 by Coach. It's a light and airy scent with notes of cucumber, apple blossom, pear and green tea. The bottle is simple but elegant; it has a frosted glass finish with the brand name printed on the front in gold lettering.
This review will be divided into three parts: What to Expect, Overview of My Experience With Coach New York Perfume And Final Thoughts On Whether I Would Recommend This Product To Others
The Packaging
The packaging is a bit unusual, but the bottle itself is quite striking. It's a tall rectangular shape with a sleek black cap and white lettering. The box is also quite nice--it has an elegant design that feels like something you'd find in an expensive department store.
The scent itself is unlike anything else I've ever smelled before. There are notes of vanilla, amber and musk which combine to create a warm and inviting aroma that lingers on your skin throughout the day (or night). It's not too strong or overpowering; it simply smells amazing!
The Scent
Coach New York is a feminine fragrance that opens with floral notes of jasmine, orange blossom and green tea. The heart includes tuberose, magnolia and rose. The base notes include vanilla, musk and sandalwood.
The scent is very elegant and sophisticated with a hint of sweetness to it. It's not too strong but it lasts all day long on me!
Longevity and Sillage
As the name suggests, this fragrance is inspired by the city of New York. It was created by perfumer Christophe Laudamiel and released in 2015. The notes include bergamot, mandarin orange, pear and jasmine sambac flowers; with a heart of violet leaves; all resting on base notes of patchouli oils and sandalwood.
The scent itself has an incredibly strong opening note which smells like freshly cut grass mixed with green apples (oranges). As it dries down into its mid-notes you'll notice hints of sweet floral fragrances like jasmine mingling with creamy vanilla scents that give off an almost caramelized sweetness--a combination that makes for quite an intoxicating experience!
If you're looking for something that will last all day long then this perfume might not be ideal for you since it tends to fade away rather quickly after application but if longevity isn't your main concern then I highly recommend giving Coach New York Perfume Spray ($55) a try because even though it doesn't last long on my skin - I still love wearing it because it smells so good!
