If you're a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and are looking for an unforgettable adventure, look no further than Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure Park. This thrilling ride takes you on an intergalactic journey with the beloved characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
The experience begins as you enter the fortress-like Tivan Collection, which is owned by the Collector, one of the most powerful beings in the universe. Inside, you'll find a variety of rare and exotic artifacts, including some familiar items from the Marvel movies.
But your tour takes a dangerous turn when Rocket, the wise-cracking raccoon, shows up to free his friends from captivity. Suddenly, you're on a high-speed mission to escape the Tivan Collection with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The ride itself is a drop tower, which takes you up and down several times, all while rocking out to an awesome soundtrack of classic rock songs. Each ride experience is randomized, so you never know which song or drop sequence you'll get.
If you're a fan of TikTok, you'll love the special photo op that's available at the end of the ride. You can recreate the iconic moment from the movie where the Guardians strike a pose to the song "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5. It's the perfect opportunity to show off your Guardians of the Galaxy fandom to your followers.
In addition to the ride, you can also meet Star-Lord, Gamora, and even Groot himself throughout the park. And if you're looking for even more Marvel-themed fun, be sure to check out Avengers Campus, which opened in 2021.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! is just one of the many amazing experiences available at the Disneyland Resort. From classic attractions like Space Mountain to newer additions like Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, there's something for everyone at the Happiest Place on Earth.
